The Financial report of the month of July 2014‏ and a letter from Alice

Greetings to you all. We are entering into the rainy season. The wheather is changing slower some times hot and some time drisling. We are enjoying both the cool and hot wheather. The wind is blowing harder in the night time.
This month we have guests from USA Mr.Prathap and Joyce family along with their teenage children woody and Benoni. Joyce is eldest daughter of Mr.Benjamin founder of the school and Childhome.
We have great time with them and enjoyed good food with them.On the 12th of July they gave us a nice feast with different varieties of food. We really had a great time with them. Mr. Prathap helped us in paying a road for the tricycles along side of the rose plants and also helped to build a big bench at the neem tree where the children and staff can rest under the shade.
The park has been changed close to the girls dorm and we planted 10 coconut plants infront of the girls dorms.
We laid a strait road from girls dorm to the water tank.
Mr.Prathap said that he has not been here for 8 years and when he saw the new changes in the school and childhome their entire family were very astonished for the new developments and the great support being given by the Swedish parents and Tolkilngsonhelpin through Bro Sam’s family, they also felt like doing some help to the Childhome. In this regard they helped little to improve the conditions of the childhome by putting stone benches, and painting the dining hall, doing the hair cuts of the children etc.
They said that there is an enormous change in the living conditions of the Children and all of them are looking healthy and happy in this new environment.Mrs.Joyce expressed that children are given the best oppurtunities in their lives and they look more confident than before. She said that Sam is fulfilling the dream of her father by helping and supporting this  great project where these children are being neglected by their own families and fellow Indians.
We wanted to plant more plants this year but little affraid of the buffalows  and goats from out side where we do not have fencing or wall.

All the children are sending their love to you.
